We had a lovely view from our room too. Breakfast was amazing and so was dinner, lovely big portions! Michelle was very friendly and bubbly on Sunday morning! We haven’t stayed in a b&b before and although others may love it, we found it very quiet and almost like we had to whisper, even in our rooms, which I know we didn’t, it is just different to what we are used to which is no criticism at all. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge after dinner with a glass of wine in front of the beautiful fire. We found lynmouth and Lyton very lovely and quiet. Not much was open whilst we were here, which was every disappointing, no cafes open in lynmouth, the Cliff train wasn’t operating and some shops where closed too. They all seem to open next weekend ready for half term.. I do agree with other reviews about the mask thing, it should be said before people check in as it is not a legal requirement anymore. Luckily we had some in the car, so wasn’t an issue for us, but whilst the shops do not sell them and there are no ‘corner’ shops to buy them, I do believe it would be polite to ask people to bring some with them. Completely respect having you wear them as I work for the NHS so I am used to wearing one every day anyway.
They also prefer cash behind the bar, so remember to get some out if you buy any drinks from there.
We really did enjoy our stay and have and will recommend to others!
Thank you. More
